Bonjour + Hola + Hello, I'm Araceli!
I'm a Spanish speaking, flora loving, ad libitum traveling, European day-dreaming, eclectic feeling and hopelessly romantic kinda gal! I appreciate the beauty in the little details, the warmth a sunflower gives me, a thoughtful gift, a sappy love story of how a couple met... Not to mention, I love a perfectly brewed café au lait! [From Bird Rock Coffee Roasters to be exact!]
As fate would have it, my journey in the wedding industry began when I was a junior in high school. Having fallen in love with weddings, flowers and celebrations at such a young age, I was so determined to get my foot in the door and get a head start in what would properly become my dream job.
Luckily, I have been blessed with working under one of San Diego's elite wedding coordinators and being the right-hand woman to one of Orange County's finest floral designers! Over the past decade, I have gained an indispensable amount of knowledge on how a wedding is orchestrated; in turn, how there is a mathematical formula and visual technique to floral design + decor. I feel it is essential to pay attention to even the tiniest of details that may be overlooked; because in the end it all intertwines perfectly to create your celebration's ambiance.
My philosophy: In order to be the best, I needed to learn as much as possible about all of the elements which formulate the perfect wedding + celebration. A true jack of all trades, in order to become master of one: weddings.
My Concept for Café au Love: One major thing that I admire about my culture is the custom of sipping on a freshly brewed café con leche and conversing with loved ones. This is part of many a daily routine! I love the concept of closeness these moments bring among people; the stories and laughs that are shared; how deep the conversations may get! As a coordinator, I want my clients to feel the luxury in one of life's simplest pleasures. Embracing that familiar coziness whilst getting to know one another and building towards a relationship in discussing then orchestrating one of the most important days of their lives! All over a good cup of coffee.
